Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- The application form is available for the first applicant. Include proof of alteration in address or other details.

If applicants do not possess proof of the change of address, the applicant can sign the form to the following people
- Gazetted Officer - Group A
- Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
- Gazetted Officer - Group B
- MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
- Tehsildar
- Head of Recognized Education Institution
- Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution
- Shelter houses/Orphanages that are recognized as shelter houses
- Officer EPFO
- Then You have to visit the nearest Aadhaar Center along with this form to apply for changing the address, or apply online for such Address change using the Aadhaar Number. address change link
UIDAI permits holders of Aadhaar cardsto change their address and without the need of documents. Aadhaar cardholders could change their address, even if they don't have documents proving their identity.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily halted a vital facility that allows you to modify your Aadhaar card's address, without proof of address.
UIDAI permits people with Aadhaar cards to change their address with no need for any paperwork. Aadhaar cardholders can change their address once they are willing to accept the authentication that the address verifyer. An address verifier can be a family member, friend or landlord who allows the Aadhaar card owner to use their address to prove their identity.
UIDAI has stopped using this feature. UIDAI was notified by an Aadhaar Card Holder via tweets that the option to update address on Aadhaar Card through an Address Validation Certificate has been removed. UIDAI has requested that the Aadhaar provider to alert users that they are able to change their address using a acceptable PoA document.

UIDAI offers the following documents for you to use as POA documents (Proof of Address) documents that include the name and address for Aadhaar cards
Passport
Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving license
Water Bill (not older that 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older that 3 months)
Credit Card Statement (not more than 3 months old).
The letter is signed and includes a picture of the corporate registered on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Parents' passports (in for minors)
Central/ State Govt. It issued an allotment order for accommodation. (Not greater than 3 Years)
Bhamashah Card/Jan-Aadhaar card issued by the Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Of Institution of shelter homes recognized by UIDAI orphanages. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
